Meet our Expert Panel

Charlie Wilson (Director of Permitting) has worked at Baker Development Resources for 6 years. Baker Development Resources is a consulting firm that assists with entitlement, due diligence, zoning and land use, and construction permitting in the Central Virginia region.   With that knowledge, the construction permitting can be strategically cadenced with the preceding entitlement processes.  Furthermore, zoning parameters can be assessed prior to design and preparation of construction drawings to save owners/contractors from being blindsided at permitting application by unanticipated permit denials.  In 2023, Baker Development Resources handled over 500 commercial/residential permits, and is on track for more this year.

Tabatha Gonzalez is a sales rep for Layman Brothers for over 11 years . She specializes in insulation and energy conservation. She is a certified HERs rater through RESNET and holds a residential building energy analyst contractor’s license in the state of Virginia. She really enjoys taking time to educate her contractors. 

Brent Purgason is the owner of Purgason Plumbing and a state licensed Master Plumber, Master Gasfitter and Class A Contractor. He has been working in the plumbing and pipe-fitting field for over 20 years in Central Virginia.
