Isy Jackson is an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Design and a Professional member of the Interior Design Society. She is the founder of Cheltenham Interiors, an upscale interior architecture and design studio located in Bethesda, MD, serving clients across the Washington, DC metro area and beyond. With a background in Art History from University College London and a Masters in Interior Architecture from George Washington University, Isy's extensive experience includes working with two top DC firms and a passion for seamlessly blending traditional and modern design styles. Her multicultural exposure and family's design expertise spanning decades enable her to create diverse design aesthetics, from traditional to midcentury, art deco, bohemian, coastal, and minimalist modern. Isy specializes in crafting custom features like personalized area rugs, coordinating fabrics and wallpapers, furniture selection or reupholstery, art curation, and lighting. She takes pride in helping clients navigate life changes and offers up to three tailored design options, resulting in curated, personalized, and harmonious living spaces that tell a unique story and evoke joy. Under her full home service umbrella Isy has two other brands. The first is handling projects within the niche of luxury nursery, toddler and tween bedrooms and the other is handling powder room projects for homes and upscale commercial establishments such as doctors, dentists, hair salons and restaurants that can use upgrading with wallpaper or everything new. She picked kids rooms since she has three young boys and her dream is to design anything pink, in addition to the other colors that young parents want. The style she is going for is akin to country club kids attire such as Ralph Lauren with bow ties and pastel colors. Her powder rooms are diverse in styles and uber creative which is why she wants to decorate these small but mighty spaces!
